An  architectural biennial producing massive parsley like leaves which are eventually crowned by impressive towering light green umbelliferous flowers in early Summer. Plant in deep, fertile moist soil in full sun. Young leaves can be used in salads and candied stems are used to decorate cakes.
You should find that Angelica self seeds, so watch out for new seedlings if you've allowed the plant to flower, seed and drop those seeds.
