TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ABOUT US: This website is owned and operated by Catherine Wallsgrove of Pepperpot Nursery who is completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions or comments, or if you need to contact us, please email using the link on the home page or use the details below.

The content of the website and the images of all herb plants in the store belongs to us. The reproduction, by whatever means, of the whole or any part or of our images is strictly forbidden and is protected by copyright.

MAKING A PURCHASE: Making a purchase couldn't be easier, just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on checkout and you will be asked to enter a few details that we need in order to complete the order.

We accept card payments.

We accept Visa and Mastercard.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in case a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING: We currently offer a delivery charge for postage and packaging to the UK mainland and to the highlands and islands. The plants are despatched to you via our courier DPD who will contact you, provide you with a one hour delivery window and the option to arrange for the parcel to be left in a safe place, with a neighbour, at an alternative address or at a drop off shop for collection. It is also possible to change the delivery date.

We always suggest that you order the plants when you know they can be delivered to a place where someone will be in to take delivery or where they can be left safely - these are living plants and we accept no liability for damage caused due to delays if the courier is not able to deliver them because you are not at the address you have asked us to deliver them to. They need to be unpacked as soon as possible.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE: We will normally despatch your herbs within four working days of receiving your order . This means that (excluding bank holidays and weekends) if you order on one day they will be collected by DPD on the second, third or fourth day and with you the day after they have collected them from us - unless that day is a bank holiday or weekend.

You must inform us within two days if the herbs are damaged so that we can help rectify the problem.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our courier is sufficient evidence to establish the goods have been received and we accept no liability if you choose to have them left without a signature.

RETURNS POLICY: Your rights to return goods are not protected under the EU Distance Selling  Directive as the herb plants are perishable goods.

These terms apply to your order of live herbs only. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
