Mentha alopecuroides


This spreading perennial has hairy, rounded to oval, highly fragrant leaves. In Summer it produces spikes of whorled, tubular, pink flowers. Use the leaves raw or cooked as a flavouring or make tea from its fresh or dried leaves. Suitable for planting in a moist, well drained site in full sun or partial shade.
