Forming an extensive mass of erect stems with ovate and lance shapes, slightly wrinkled gold/green variegated leaves and producing whorls of pink purple flowers in Summer. Valued for its antiseptic properties, it also aids digestion and can be used for culinary purposes.
Usually the last mint to reappear after the winter months, don't give up on it, it should still emerge from its roots.
