Green leaves, strong scent, a great flavour and definitely the most popular basil!
This is the most widely recognised and used Basil. A bushy plant with ovate, glossy bright green leaves with a tall and uniform habit. Genovese Basil has a strong flavour and aroma and is a favourite amongst Basils. Best if not allowed to flower, so keep picking and using.
Plant in full sun in a well drained site.

The sweet basil and all our other herb plants arrived in strong, lightweight, recyclable packaging - clearly thoughtful planning has been given to sale and production, evidenced by the green and healthy young plants we received, now flourishing happily in our herb garden and/or pots, offering their wonderful variety of taste and aroma, complementing so well our love of fresh herbs in our cooking. A wonderful addition to our giant chemistry set, aka our kitchen.
Easy ordering and communication. Pick up was quick and easy. Plants very healthy.
